<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multifunctional communication terminal machine which implements a telephone, e-mail, and facsimile transmitting and receiving function by a system for recognizing handwritten characters. SOLUTION: This device includes an A/D converter 30 which converts and outputs touch-sensitive data of a touch screen display means 20 generating and outputting the touch-sensitive data including an image, characters, or symbols that a user handwrites, an output control part 120 of a display means 20, a voice/data switcher means 70 connected to a line interface means 60 for an external communication network, a handset 80 connected thereto, a modem means 90 which senses an incoming messages, outputs an outgoing messages and converts data in both A/D and D/A directions, and a microprocessor 40 which controls the transmission and reception of a telephone call or facsimile message and controls function selection, message display, and data storage in and a read of a memory means 50 under the control of the modem means 90 according to a control signal inputted from the touch screen display means 20.</p> |
