PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a parallel arithmetic processor which can compute Y=ΣA*X*B at a high speed by reducing the transferred amount of data for computation. SOLUTION: A computing element 103 computes Y'=ΣA*X by inputting data X stored in a memory (A) 101 and data A stored in another memory (B) 102. The computed result Y' is written in a stack register 104 and transferred to the memory (A) 101. Then the element 103 computes Y=ΣY'*B by inputting the data Y' stored in the memory (A) 101 and data B stored in the memory (B) 102. |
