The legs (14,16) of the corner connector angle piece (12) are cut oblique to the leg axis at their ends with wedges (32,34) bearing on the flanks (36,38) of the cut face (18,20) so legs are moved along the cut face by two clamping screws (60,62). The screws pass through a hole coaxially drilled in the angle legs so the screw ends can be screwed into respective anchor pins (56,58) fitted rotatably transverse to the leg axis in the respective wedges (32,34). The wedges complete the leg ends (14,16) to form a square profile and the cut face (18,20) runs at right angles to the walls of the profile specified. The centering parts (64,66) of the two legs (14,16) have outside dimensions matching the inside dimensions of the frame profiles.
