PURPOSE: A method for tracing messages dependent on call proceeding in the intelligent network is provided to supervise the call flow of the intelligent network by executing tracing for messages processed between each of the components. CONSTITUTION: A SCP(Service Control Point)(21), a SSP(Service Switching Point)(22) and an IP(Intelligent Peripheral)(23) contain each local trace server(21-1,22-1,23-1) respectively. Each local trace server(21-1,22-1,23-1) carries out message tracing according to call proceeding, and announces it to a main trace server(24). In case that the message flow dependent on the call proceeding is handed over to another component, each local trace server(21-1,22-1,23-1) announces it to the main trace server(24) and hands over the message trace control authorization to the local trace server that the message flow has been handed over to.
