PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely reflect the position and posture of an item in a virtual space. SOLUTION: This presence generating device for allowing an observer using the item to three-dimensionally recognize a virtual object with a picture is provided with a detecting means 20 deciding the position and posture of the item to be operated by the observer and display means 20, 30 outputting the virtual object to be recognized by the observer and is capable of detecting the position and posture of the item independently of the position of the observer to handle the item just as the observer desires in a virtual space.
