PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for measuring a light absorption spectrum are provided to remove only a signal resulted from a periodic vibration component from a fourier space, thereby effectively removing the periodic interference component without losing any information of an original signal. CONSTITUTION: A method for measuring a light absorption spectrum includes the steps of performing a fourier conversion of an absorption spectrum measured by using a laser light source, performing resolution and identification of a signal resulted from a periodic vibration component in a fourier space and a signal resulted from an atom absorption spectrum with relation to a signal performed by the fourier conversion, removing a fourier component resulted from the periodic vibration component from the fourier space, and recalling the absorption spectrum by fourier reverse-conversion of the signal of which the periodic vibration component was removed.
