PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily grasp a state in the direction of the depth inside an object. SOLUTION: In a computed tomography(CT) system 300, a synthetic image generating part 2c generates a synthetic image by averaging the CT values of respective tomographic images provided by photographing a patient K on plural adjacent or overlapped slice planes. A synthetic image coloring part 2d colors the area of a large CT value difference between the respective tomographic images in the area of synthetic image displayed in gray scale. A saturation control part 2e changes the saturation of a colored area in the synthetic image corresponding to the CT value difference (or CT values) of respective tomographic images. Therefore, the direction or state of inserting an object (needle, for example,) inserted into the object can be properly recognized. |
