PURPOSE: An optical fiber ribbon is provided to correspond to a large stretching force by using an optical fiber ribbon in which the stretching strength of both ends thereof is large. CONSTITUTION: An optical fiber(21) is integrally coated on an optical fiber ribbon(20) by a ribbon resin(22). A stretching member(27) is inserted into both ends of the optical fiber ribbon(20) in the lengthwise direction. After the stretching member(27) is inserted into the both ends of the optical fiber ribbon(20) in the lengthwise direction, the optical fiber(21) is coated with the ribbon resin(22).
