PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device such that developing density can be stably controlled without using a potential sensor. SOLUTION: Since the change of the dark attenuation amount of a photoreceptor drum 17 due to the change of temperature is stabilized when exposure is zero and in the off-state of discharge, that means, on a condition that an exposure unit 18 is prevented from being actuated and the surface potential of the drum 17 is stabilized to a fixed value regardless of the temperature after it is electrified, the developing contrast potential of a developing patch can be stabilized when an electrostatic latent image is formed without pre-exposing the surface part of the drum 17 on which the developing patch is formed by the unit 18. Thus, the developing density can be stably controlled without using the potential sensor. |
