<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect a target without changing the frequency of a transmission beam in a digital beam forming system radar device. SOLUTION: A phase shifter 20 is provided corresponding to each of a plurality of element antennas 28, and an irradiation direction is successively changed to a plurality of directions for transmitting a transmission beam. An A/D converter 36 is provided corresponding to each of a plurality of the element antennas 28. A beam former 38 is provided, where the beam former receives the output signal of the A/D converter, and generates a reception beam corresponding to each of a plurality of the directions. A beam scan controller 22 and a beam scan pattern table 52 are provided, and a changing pattern in the irradiation direction in a scan process due to the transmission beam is switched for each scan.</p> |
