<p>In order to increase the output of a machine for producing tobacco industry products, a flow of tobacco, consisting of strands and side flanks in addition to foreign bodies, is projected against a wall (20) in a dispenser (1), whereby said wall is provided with hollow profiles (22) and protuberances (24) that are arranged next to each other in the direction of the tobacco flow. The side profiles are aligned parallel to the flow of the tobacco. The dispenser comprises a channel (13) whereby at least one wall thereof (20) i.e. the wall against which the tobacco flow is projected, is provided with hollow profiles (22) and protuberances (24) placed side by side in the direction of the tobacco flow. A rotary cylinder (40) also provided with said profiles can be mounted at the bottom of the wall. A machine fitted with said dispenser yields a higher output due to a higher pick up rate for the sides thereof, while at the same time offering a substantial reduction in the duration of down times due to tobacco blockages.</p> |
