WATERPROOFING STRUCTURE OF SASH

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a watertight structure of a sash such that even if an exterior wall surface has some indentations, a watertight member can follow the indentations and exhibits function as a primary watertight member. SOLUTION: A mounting piece 2 projecting sideways of a sash 1 is made to abut an exterior wall 3 from its outdoor side to fix the sash 1 and a cover 4 is mounted on the surface of the mounting piece 2 in such a manner as to cover at least the outer edge of the mounting piece 2, with the outer edge of the cover 4 projecting outside from the mounting piece 2. Also, a watertight member 5 whose end abuts the exterior wall 3 is directly mounted on the back of the surface plate 4a of the cover 4, the main body of the watertight member 5 is made of a longitudinally extending elastic material.
