CASTING METHOD AND CASTING SEAL MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of flash at a high working efficiency without causing a shape failure to a casting product. SOLUTION: Graphite sheets 7 are arranged near an inside end of a mold engaging part between sand molds 4a and 4b. Since the graphite sheets have flexibility and are arranged between the sand molds 4a, 4b without a gap, the molten material rarely flows between them. Also, the graphite sheets do not go inside the mold in disorderly, because they are nipped between the sand molds 4a and 4b.
