PURPOSE: A system and a method for checking an alignment of an automotive wheel are provided to find a minute misalignment of the wheel by checking the alignment after finding an independent vibration source. CONSTITUTION: A system for checking an alignment of an automotive wheel includes a standard sensor part(30) having four sensors for detecting vibration of the wheel and a responsive point sensor part(40) having a responsive sensor for detecting vibration of a vehicle body. A check commander(20) receives an alignment checking command, and a display(50) displays the checking results. A digital signal processor(10) receives the signals from the sensor parts(30,40), calculates the affection of the standard sensor to the responsive point sensor according to the signals, and determines if there is a misalignment in the wheel on the basis of the calculation results.
