PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide gas turbine generating equipment to maintain operation of generating equipment when excessive torque is generated in a short time at a generator due to lowering of an instantaneous voltage, and secure a power source for an important load. SOLUTION: Gas turbine generating equipment serves to rotationally drives a generator by a gas turbine and a power transmitting means 10 is arranged between the gas turbine and the generator. A power transmission means comprises a quill shaft 13 consisting of a long shaft 13a and a hollow shaft 12a surrounding the long shaft; and a shaft coupling 14 having a shaft rendered slendered, and strain energy in an elastic limit thereof is set to a value higher than fluctuation torque energy of a generator during instantaneous lowering of a voltage. Further, a hydraulic torque limiter 16 is arranged between the shaft coupling 14 and the generator to prevent accumulation of metal fatigue.
