PURPOSE: A circuit for removing a noise component of an image signal is provided to improve image quality as muting an image signal including a noise component during a noise period to remove the noise component. CONSTITUTION: A circuit for removing a noise component of an image signal includes an image signal amplifying part(10), a signal sensing part(20) and an image signal muting part(30). The image signal amplifying part amplifies an image signal. The signal sensing part senses the amplified image signal and outputs a high signal when the amplified image signal is higher than a predetermined standard voltage. A signal from the signal sensing part is inputted to the image signal muting part and mutes an image signal during a noise period.
