REACTION INHIBITOR AND CURING POLYORGANOSILOXANE COMPOSITION FORMULATED WITH THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a reaction inhibitor excellent in storage stability in an open state at room temperature after being added with a catalyst and also having excellent hardenability enabling itself to rapidly being cured under heat by adopting a cyclic acetylene alcohol compound having a specific range of molecular structures. SOLUTION: This reaction inhibitor is prepared by adopting a cyclic acetylene alcohol compound of the formula [wherein R1 and R2 are each H or a hydrocarbon; (n) is 3-6; the total number of carbon atoms in a molecule is 10-20]. This polyorganosiloxane composition capable of curing due to hydrosilylation reaction preferably includes (A) a organopolysiloxane having two or more alkenyl groups combined with silicon atom in a molecule, (B) an organopolyhydrogensiloxane having two or more hydrogens combined with silicon atom in a molecule, (C) a platinum-based catalyst and (D) the above alcohol compound.
