PURPOSE: A threshing machine and separation thereof are provided which improve the accuracy of separation, reduce loss and protect the clogging even when grain to be treated gains in quantity. CONSTITUTION: The machine comprises a shaking selection shelf (3) that is constructed by supporting in a separation chamber (2) placed at the lower part of a feeding chamber (1) and equipped with a chaff shiver (5) with a separation opening controller (4) for separating the threshed product supplied onto the shelf thereon; a second flow detecting device (S1) for detecting the amount of second products to be treated in a second treatment chamber (6); a detecting device (S2) of thickness of a grain culms layer for detecting the amount of recycled grain culms per unit hour that is constructed to supply to the feeding chamber (1); a controller for controlling the separation opening controller (C) of the chaff shiver by the detection information of the second flow detecting device and the detecting device of thickness of grain culm layer.
