PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data communication equipment capable of executing the record control of a proper receiving footer in the case of executing both-side recording by both-side transmission or forced both-side recording by one-side transmission. SOLUTION: It is detected whether both-side transmission is designated by a both-side reading selecting button 22 from an opposite transmitter and whether forced both-side recording is selected by a forced both-side recording selecting button 26. Then, the recording condition of the receiving footer is varied depending on a case that both-side transmission and forced both-side recording are selected or a case that neither both-side transmission nor forced both-side recording is selected. Specifically, in the case that neither both-side transmission nor forced both-side recording is selected, the receiving footer is recorded corresponding to receiving information of the unit of one page to record but in the case that both-side transmission and forced both-side recording are selected, recording of the receiving footer is executed for receiving information of the unit of one page recording to a front surface and recording of the receiving footer is not executed for receiving information of the unit of one page recording to a rear surface.
