PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double-sided-image forming device which prevents omission of the transfer of a toner image to a rear surface and transfer defect when a transfer material is transferred from an intermediate transfer body to a fixing means and also prevents rub of a toner image on a rear surface against the intermediate transfer body, thereby forming images satisfactorily. SOLUTION: A curvature part for the separation of a transfer material from an intermediate transfer body is provided. A third transfer means and a fixing means are provided so as to satisfy the relationships of 20<=L1<=90, 60<=L2, and L1+L2<=L3, wherein L1 (mm) is a distance between the curvature part and a transfer position where a toner image on the intermediate transfer body is transferred to the rear surface of the transfer material, L2 (mm) is the shortest distance between the curvature part and the position where the fixing means holds the transfer material, L3 (mm) is the smallest size of the transfer material. Further, the relationship of 109<=R<1012, wherein R (Ω.cm) is the volume resistivity of the intermediate transfer body is satisfied. |
