The DC motor (1) has a pole stator of iron packets which is composed of several ring segments the number of which corresponds to the pole count. The circular ring segments (9) are sprayed with a plastic coating (10) and in its axial walls (11) it has distance holders (12), in which locking catches are integrally cast, which project inwards at both sides of the pole stator (4) connecting walls and are locked there.
