PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold for easily manufacturing thermoplastic resin molded articles without using separate and individual molding devices in compliance with respective manufactures in the case a thermoplastic resin molded article without a skin material and a thermoplastic resin molded article laminated with a skin material are of a same design and the kind and thickness of the skin materials are different. SOLUTION: A mold is formed of a pair of male and female molds sliding each other by utilizing the outer peripheral face of the male mold and the inner peripheral face of the female mold as a slide section when the clamping is carried out, and the female mold is formed of a female mold main body 2 and a slide member 3 constituting a part of the female mold on the whole periphery or a part of the slide section, and the slide member 3 is provided to be movable forward and backward in the direction perpendicular to the direction of opening and closing the mold, and the distance of moving forward and backward can be controlled optionally.
