PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cardboard packaging box in which an upper surface of a covering lid is swollen in a semi-cylindrical shape, the grade is high, and the structure is sturdy. SOLUTION: In a cardboard packaging box to open/close a box body opened in an open surface by a covering lid 2, the covering lid 2 is provided with a long main cardboard part 8 of specified width, outer and inner front walls 10a, 10b in the center in the longitudinal direction of the main cardboard part 8, outer and inner lid piece part 11a, 11b on upper and lower end sides thereof, and outer and inner rear side walls 13a, 13b on upper and lower end sides thereof are successively and continuously provided, an outer wall 16 and a connection strip piece 18 are successively and continuously provided on both end sides of the outer front wall 10a, both outer walls 16 are provided with swollen part 19 projecting in an arc-like manner on its upper end side, and the outer and inner front walls 10a, 10b, the outer and inner lid piece parts 11a, 11b, the outer and inner rear walls 13a, 13b, the outer walls 16 and the inner walls 21 are folded to assemble the packaging box.
