PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make peripheral speed of each round blade coincide with each other and cut a paper pipe by producing a neat cut end even if a difference in diameter of the round blades of each cutting unit occurs when the paper pipe is cut into a plurality of short cylinders by a plurality of cutting units. SOLUTION: In a paper pipe cutter in which a plurality of cutting units 4 cutting a paper pipe by pressing a round blade 41 against the rotating paper pipe are installed on a mounting member 13, a motor 6 for rotating and driving round blade is arranged per cutting unit 4, each motor 6 is electrically connected with a control part, and the control part has an inputting part inputting a diameter of the round blade 41 per cutting unit 4 and a computing part which computes so that the number of revolutions of the round blade 41 becomes proper number based on an input signal and outputs to the motor 6.
