PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image-forming method which is less liable to cause contamination and toner fusion to a contact electrifying means and a body to be electrified and is superior in durability in repeated use. SOLUTION: An electrifying member 2 with an electrifying bias voltage applied from a contact electrifying means is brought into contact with a body 1 to be electrified under 5-500 g/cm contact pressure for electrifying the body 1. The electrified body 1 is exposed to form an electrostatic charge image on the surface of the body 1. The electrostatic charge image carried on the body 1 is developed with a developing means to form a target image. The developing means has a developer comprising toner, containing at least a bonding resin and a colorant and a hydrophobic inorganic fine powder. The bonding resin contains a THF-solubility share, having a peak in the molecular weight range of 2,000-10,000 in its molecular weight distribution by GPC(gel permeation chromatography). The bonding resin has 1-70 mg KOH/g acid value. |
