PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hold an ice taking-out shovel within a lower ice storing casing by a simple structure. SOLUTION: A pair of right and left shelves 4 having substantially L-shaped section extending in a forward or rearward direction are integrally molded at a bottom surface 3 of a drain pan 1 in an automatic ice making machine. Each of flanges 10 formed at each of the right and left upper ends of the ice taking-out shovel 7 is mounted on each of the aforesaid shovels 4, thereby the shovel 7 is held at the water drain pan 1. In addition, a small hole 11 is formed at a bottom part of an ice receiver 8 at the shovel 7.
