METHOD FOR USING DISULFIDE COMPOUND AS A SULFIDING AGENT

PURPOSE: A method for using disulfide compound as a sulfiding agent which is advantageous in production cost without degeneration of its performance when compared with the conventional, known sulfiding agent is provided. CONSTITUTION: The method for using disulfide compound as a sulfiding agent is directed to using disulfide compounds, byproduct from an LPG desulfurization process in a petroleum refining plant among all kinds of catalytic processes which require pressurizing process, as a sulfiding agent for refining or chemical processes. Further, a method is directed to using disulfide compound as a sulfiding agent spin-off from LPG desulfurization of refining process in order to reduce coking at the inner surface of a cracking tube of ethylene cracker.
