PURPOSE: An electron gan for color cathode ray tube is provided to improve the resolution around the edge of screen by compensating the aberration due to a deflection of an electron beam. CONSTITUTION: An electron gan for color cathode ray tube includes a constant voltage concentration electrode(18) and a variable voltage concentration electrode(19) implemented as to face the constant voltage concentration electrode. The constant voltage concentration electrode includes a plurality of electron orifices(18a,18b,18c) in their rectangular forms. A circular electron orifice(22b) is implemented at the center of the constant voltage concentration electrode. A guide inner electrode(22) with semi-circular outer electron orifices(22a, 22c) is fixed at the both sides of the constant voltage concentration electrode. The guide inner electrode forms a quadruple dense on the outer side of the electron beam.
