PURPOSE: A device for managing a serial bus is provided to transfer data in real time by being handed over used channel and bandwidth in case of the data needing real time transfer, after storing the data kind of channel and bandwidth value being transferred to an isochronous resource manager. CONSTITUTION: If an optional node plans to transfer isochronous packet data, isochronous resources are detected for checking if the isochronous resources to be allotted by the other node are used already. If the isochronous resources are used, the isochronous packet data is temporarily handed over the preoccupied channel and bandwidth according to the kinds of communication between devices to transfer the isochronous packet data. Then, the channel and the bandwidth are returned to the node containing the ownership of the channel and the bandwidth.
