TRIAC DEVICE AND FABRICATING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A triac device and a fabricating method thereof are provided to improve gate trigger balance without lowering basic characteristic of the device. CONSTITUTION: In a triac device, a gate region(37) is partially removed at one side thereof toward a cathode region(15), so that an anode region(11) within the gate region(37) is opened and connected with outside anode region(11). Accordingly, in a low current device with small gate region(37), an expected trigger voltage(VGT1) at first upper operation mode is obtained by controlling a ratio of second resistance to third resistance(R2/R3), and further trigger balance differences between a current(IGT1) at first upper operation mode and a current(IGT2) at second upper operation mode are controlled.
