PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure image confirmation by displaying an image signal when an instruction is not obtained and recording it on a recording medium after storing an image signal in a semiconductor memory in accordance with an instruction. SOLUTION: When a power switch is turned 'on', the input side 18A of an analog switch 18 is connected to an output side, an output signal of an image picking up part 10 is outputted to an electronic viewfinder through a signal processing circuit 24, and an image photographed by the part 10 is shown on the electronic viewfinder. When a release switch 30 is pressed down to be turned 'on', an image signal being an output of the part 10 is digitized by an A/D converter 16 with the control of a control circuit 28 and is stored in a frame memory 20. After that, it is immediately reproduced, an input side 18B of the switch 18 is connected to the output side, and an image by image information stored in the memory 20 is reproduced on the electronic viewfinder as a still picture. The reproduced image information is simultaneously outputted to a storage device 26 and recording is started. |
