The invention relates to a device for suspending and roll-stabilizing motor vehicles, which without additional springs achieves both the necessary roll-resistance and lift-resistance by adjustment of the ratio of piston area (34, 36) to piston ring area (35, 37) of the suspension cylinders (9, 10) during a simultaneous active intervention of an actuator (27) integrated between the cross-connected lines.
