NONAQUEOUS SILICONE EMULSION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject emulsion having high stability, comprising a silicone phase containing a cross-linked silicone elastomer and a low-molecular weight silicone fluid and an organic phase containing an organic liquid. SOLUTION: This emulsion comprises a silicone phase containing (A) a cross- linked silicone elastomer and (B) a low-molecular weight silicone fluid and an organic phase containing (C) an organic liquid (preferably ethanol, etc.). Preferably the objective emulsion is composed of a discontinuous organic phase dispersed into a continuous silicone phase. The emulsion in an amount of 100 pts.wt. contains 20-80 wt.% of the silicone phase and 20-80 pts.wt. of the organic phase. The silicone phase contains preferably 0.5-15 pts.wt. of the component A and 85-99.95 pts.wt. of the component B. The component A is preferably a hydrosilylation reaction product of an organosiloxane containing >=2 alkenyl groups on the average, etc., and an organohydrogensiloxane containing >=2 hydrogenated silicon groups on the average.
