PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively output the data of a department control function onto paper surface and to output the data of the department control function to facilitate its processing. SOLUTION: This image forming apparatus 1 is constituted as a copying machine, including a printing part 16 and a scanner part 12. At copying, a control part 50 discriminates department, and counts and stores the number of consumed sheets by every department. In department control processing, the stored counted value is displayed on a display device 27 of an operation part 26, and an operation menu displayed simultaneously is selected by the operation part 26, whereby the stored counted value is printed on the paper surface by the printing part 16, and consequently, the counted value is made easy to see. Then, the counted value is transferred to the general data storage medium of a personal computer(PC), etc., so that it is easily utilized for totalling operation. |
