PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum alloy sheet which has the strength close to that of a conventional can end formed of 5182 alloy, is excellent in blow-up resistance, high in strength, and excellent in recyclability. SOLUTION: This aluminum alloy sheet has a composition consisting of, by weight, 0.6-1.2% Mn, 1.5-3.5% Mg, 0.2-0.5% Si, 0.1-0.5% Cu, 0.1-0.3% Fe, 0.001-0.2% Ti, and the balance Al with inevitable impurities, and the area ratio of intermetallic compounds whose mean grain size is >=1μm in their metallic structure is <=3%.
