PURPOSE: A filter press is provided to save cost since an additional filtering plate washer transmission unit is not necessary by transmitting the filtering plate washer with a filtering plate transmission device. CONSTITUTION: A filter press is composed of a pair of supporting units(1) mutually separated each other in parallel, a front and a rear head(3,5), a filter unit(9) having plural filtering plates(7), a movement head(11), a side bar(13) and a filtering cloth(15). Herein, if a residual cake is separated, a vibration unit(25) is raised by an elevation device(33), and at the same time, a washing nozzle(27) drops toward the filtering plate(7) so that the filtering plate and the filtering cloth are washed since washing water is sprayed to the filtering cloth installed between the separated filtering plates.
