<p>A convertible bag (10) for holding articles (12) is arranged to be opened into a sanitary reclining mat (20) and pillow (26) for reclining a child (14) thereon. A pair of zippers (40) removably join top and bottom panels (30, 32). The bag includes a pair of handles (50). At least one of the opposing ends of one of the handle is attached to the bag with first and second attachment points (54A, 54B) to form at least one utility loop (54) for attaching related baby paraphernalia (55). Each handle preferably further includes a metal snap fasteners (56) for removably attaching each handle to the outer surface of the bag to prevent a child from being strangled by a handle strap while lying on the reclining mat. The bag preferably includes a plurality of compartments (60, 66) for storing additional articles (12) as well as an identification tag (70) for displaying emergency information regarding the child.</p> |
