PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make parts common among different models. SOLUTION: This endoscope has a pair of drive members consisting of wire drive members 55 which, are formed with curving parts at the front ends of flexible tube parts to be inserted into the celom and are inserted into the flexible tube parts for connecting a manipulation part to be manipulated so as to curve these curving parts to a desired direction to the curved parts, and angle wires 127 and 129. This endoscope is provided with take-up parts 52 and 53 to take up the wire drive members into the manipulation parts. The wire drive members taken up on these take-up parts are formed to a belt form. As a result, the taking up of the drive members to many plies in one kind of the take-up parts by as much as the necessary stroke is possible. Common use of the parts among the different models is possible.
