PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the 'fault monitor/automatic recovery device for an interruption signal for digital signal processing' which is made small-sized and saves the space including a circuit monitoring a fault by reducing the installation area of the circuit as much as possible and can easily change fault/no-fault judgement conditions without fixing them evenly. SOLUTION: A digital signal processor comprises an interrupt reception part 12 which inputs interrupt signals (a1) to (an) outputted from an interrupt signal generating device 20, an instruction RAM 13 which stores data of firmware performing main signal processes corresponding to the interrupt signals (a1) to an respectively, monitors a fault by interruption, and performs an automatic recovering process for the fault, a data RAM 14 which stores information for fault monitoring, and a processor 11 which performs processes corresponding to instructions of the firmware stored in the instruction RAM 13. The interrupt signal generating device 20 are provided with S/R circuits 21-1 to 21-n which set the interrupt signals (a1) to (an) to be passed to the interrupt reception part 12 according to interrupt factor signals (b1) to (bn) inputted in periodic timing and reset them with interrupt reset signals (c1) to (cn) corresponding to interrupt processes.
