PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance a laser head in light emission output by a method, wherein a peaking capacitor is set smaller in capacity than a final output stage capacitor to enhance a charging voltage, and a discharge electrode is enhance in discharge resistance so as to prolong the oscillation period of a discharge current. SOLUTION: A peaking capacitor CP is set smaller in capacity than a pulse power supply final output stage capacitor C2. That is, the rise of a voltage VCP of a peaking capacitor CP is set sharp, and the charging voltage of the peaking capacitor CP is set higher than that of the capacitor C2 being inversely proportional to the capacitance ratio. Gas inside a discharge electrode LH is increased in pressure, the discharge electrode LH is enlarged in discharge resistance RL, and a discharge current IR is prolonged in oscillation period. As a result, the discharge current IR is properly enlarged in pulse width, and a laser head can be elongated in light emission duration, so that the emission of laser rays narrowed in band width can be realized. |
