APPARATUS FOR REMOVING SCALE RIDGES FROM METALLIC BLANK

FIELD: apparatus for removing scale ridges from lower surface of metallic blank at gas cutting of it. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes supporting beam having preferably flat upper and lower surfaces and cutting edge along each of four angles of beam. Beam is arranged across and under motion line of blank and it may rotate between neutral position when its upper or lower surface is arranged directly under motion line of blank and position when its is inclined in opposite directions with one edge engaged with lower surface of blank for removing scale ridge from it. Each cutting edge includes large number separately rotating cutting blades that is why cutting edge formed by said blades may be in close contact with non-linear contour of blank surface. EFFECT: enhanced quality of blank, improved reliability of beam for removing scale. 10 cl, 6 dwg
