摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject method, which uses a fiber elongation improver to keep residual elongation of the spun yarn, and, at the same time, solves the difficulties in yarn winding resulting from bleed-out of the additive. SOLUTION: This method produces yarns by melt spinning polyester as the base polymer incorporated with an elongation improver at a high take-off speed of 1,000 m/min or more, wherein a crystallization retardant (a), (b) or (c), defined below, is used as the elongation improver: (a) at least one metal carboxylate selected from the group consisting of alkali metal and alkaline-earth metal salts of aliphatic carboxylates, (b) p-hydroxybezoic acid and/or its ester- formable derivative, and (c) 2,6-naphthalenedicarboxylic acid and/or its ester- formable derivative.
