The invention relates to a device for generating electric power using the piezoelectric effect. Said device, which is especially a hand-operated device, comprises at least one piezoelectric converter and an electronic circuit tapping the electric voltage generated by the piezoelectric converter. Said device comprises at least one actuator (9) which is especially hand- or foot-operated by the person actuating the device.
