PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To unnecessitate specifying a reproduction start position at the time of time shift recording/reproducing, to decrease a waiting time to a reproduction start, further, to prevent the interruption of recording due to deficiency of disk capacity, and to enable performing stable time shift recording/reproducing without affecting data previously recorded. SOLUTION: This device has a first optical head H1 and a second optical head H2 which can independently record and/or reproduce in an optical disk 1, feeding motors 11, 31 moving independently the first and the second optical head H1, H2 to radius positions on the optical disk 1, and a system controller 5 moving the second optical head H2 to near radius position at which the first optical head H1 starts recording. |
