PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure required oil in a hydraulic actuator and a camshaft, while intending an internal combustion engine to be miniaturized. SOLUTION: Partly operating oil routes 108, 110 of a hydraulic actuator are provided to communicate with an external peripheral surface of an end shaft journal 48-1 on a shaft end part side of one cam shaft 40 provided with the hydraulic actuator 78. An oil pipe 124 guiding oil is provided in a center shaft housing 50-2 adjacent to one end shaft housing of one camshaft partly as a lubricating oil route.
