PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyester resin compsn. having an improved flowability by melt mixing and kneading a thermoplastic polyester resin with an epoxy- group-contg. ethylene copolymer and at least one compd. selected from among org. sulfonates and sulfuric ester salts. SOLUTION: This compsn. contains (A) a thermoplastic polyester resin (e.g. polyethylene terephthalate or polybutylene terephthalate), (B) an epoxy-group- contg. ethylene copolymer, (C) at least one compd. selected from among org. sulfonates and sulfuric ester salts, and (D) benzoic acid or the like. The wt. ratio of A/B is (20/80)-(99/1), and the wt. ratio of C/(A+B) is 0.01-20%. Ingredient B has a melt index of 0.5-100 g/10 min and a number average mol.wt. of 10,000-100,000 and comprises 20-99.9 wt.% ethylene units, 0.1-30 wt.% epoxy monomer units (e.g. units derived from an unsatd. carboxylic acid glycidyl ester), and 0-50 wt.% units derived from an ethylenic unsatd. ester compd.
