FACSIMILE MONITORING SYSTEM AND SOUND CALL INTERCEPTING METHOD USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A facsimile monitoring system capable of providing a cheap real time facsimile service through a public network and a sound call intercepting method the same are provided. CONSTITUTION: In a facsimile monitoring system, a trunk connector(31) is connected to a switching system and an international gateway office as a trunk. A facsimile monitor(23) monitors whether a facsimile tone and sound call from the trunk connector(31) are present. A switch block(32) is connected between trunk connector(31) and facsimile monitor(23). The switch block(32) selectively provides a calling path for communicating a transmitter with a receiver and a monitoring calling path. A switching controller(34) controls the switch block(32) according to whether the facsimile tone and sound call are present in the facsimile monitor(23).
