TIME SETTING METHOD OF ELECTRIC GOODS USING SETTOP BOX AND POWERLINE

PURPOSE: A method for setting a time of electric home appliances using a set-top box and a power supply line is provided to set a current time of an electric home appliance by using information on a current time among MPEG data which a set-top box receives. CONSTITUTION: Current time information is extracted from MPEG data received(S300). The current time information is transmitted to a microcomputer of an electric home appliance through a power supply line modem(S302). Current time information of the microcomputer is updated using the current time information transmitted through the power supply line modem(S304).
