摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a range finding apparatus for efficiently stabilizing a power source voltage by arranging a stabilized capacitor near an AFIC which is easily affected by the influence of a power source change or the like. SOLUTION: The range finding apparatus for measuring a distance to an object to be measured according to a light receiving position by emitting a light toward the object and receiving a reflected light of the light emitted to the object comprises a boosting regulator 3 for boosting the power source voltage of a battery 2, a step-down regulator 4 inputting a boosted voltage output from the regulator 3 to output a step-down voltage becoming lower voltage than the boosted voltage, an AFIC 5 operating by inputting the step-down voltage and outputting a signal corresponding to a distance to the object based on a signal from the light receiving means, and a stabilizing capacitor 6 connected between the vicinity of a power source terminal of the IFIC 5 to be input with the step-down voltage and the vicinity of a ground terminal to stabilize the step-down voltage. Accordingly, the power source voltage can be efficiently stabilized with less capacitor.
