PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidifier whose waterproofness is improved. SOLUTION: A humidifier 10 is composed of a water-heating tank 20 for heating and evaporating water W, a water feed tank for feeding the water W into the water-heating tank 20, an outlet port 58 for discharging steam S produced by the water-heating tank 20 to the external side, and a steam leading cylinder 90 mounted over the water-heating tank 20 and designed to lead the steam S to the outlet port 58. This humidifier 10 is so constituted that a receiving stand 22 for receiving water leaks, whose upper face has a cross-sectionally recessed shape, is formed at a part of or at the entire part of an outer edge of the water-heating tank 20.
